Spineway expands its Spineway Academy program, with new training sessions
Spineway, a specialist in innovative implants for the treatment of severe spine disorders, announces that it has conducted several training sessions for surgeons in Europe and Asia, confirming its commitment to helping practitioners master its innovative solutions.
Nearly 20 professionals trained in recent months
In China (Hong-Kong), Dr. Raymond Yip led training sessions on the CP-ESP cervical prosthesis. The first session took place in July with a Malaysian surgeon, followed by a second session in mid-October, with two other surgeons, also from Malaysia. During these sessions, Dr. Yip shared his clinical experience and best surgical practices in the operating room.
On September 15 in France (Pau), Dr. Mohamed Allaoui led a training session in the operating room with a French surgeon, focusing on three of Spineway’s flagship products: ACIFBOX (anterior cervical fusion system), KAPHORN (thoracolumbar pedicle screw system) and LP-ESP (lumbar disc prosthesis). The session allowed the participant to familiarize himself with the technical specifications and clinical benefits of these devices.
In October, two Spanish surgeons completed a comprehensive training program: first in Toulouse, with Dr. Sabatier and Dr. Hamel for the VEOS (posterior osteosynthesis) and CP-ESP systems, and then in Montpellier, with Dr. Grau-Ortiz for the Mont Blanc MIS (minimally invasive posterior osteosynthesis system). These sessions enabled them to enhance their expertise in minimally invasive techniques and the use of Spineway implants and systems.
On the sidelines of the Eurospine 2025 congress, a Meet the Expert event was organized for a group of eight Vietnamese surgeons. This opportunity for in-depth discussions with Dr. Ghailane and Dr. Campana provided a chance to present the concepts and benefits of the VEOS and VEOS MIS (minimally invasive posterior osteosynthesis) systems in detail, through interactive discussions and technical demonstrations.
Spineway also promotes the development of its partners’ technical and clinical knowledge. To this end, the team of its Spanish distributor traveled to France in October to attend a multi-product training program. Over three days, operating room training sessions were conducted with Dr. Sabatier, Dr. Boniface and Dr. Edgard-Rosa, supplemented by workshops led by Marie Andria and Loïc Aden, product managers at Spineway.
Spineway also took advantage of its presence at Eurospine to host numerous product demonstrations for the Group’s customers and prospects.
This event, which saw record attendance this year, with over 3,700 surgeons and spine professionals from 87 countries, also enabled Spineway’s sales teams to engage directly with the Group’s key customers and partners to identify and define future needs. Similarly, the Group’s R&D department presented visitors with several areas for improvement in next-generation implants and instruments.
By stepping up its training programs and participating in major international events in the sector, Spineway is reaffirming its commitment to establishing itself as a major player in spine surgery by combining innovation, expertise, and customer focus.
